Run With Us

Run With Us

Whether you’re chasing a PB, building fitness, coming back from a break, or just looking for good people to run with - you are welcome at Pace Invaders.

We’re a community-led run club built on consistency, inclusivity and showing up for each other. No egos. No pressure. Just good running, proper support, and a group that genuinely wants to see you do well.

Wednesday Social Runs (Free)

📍 Meet: Lee-on-the-Solent Tennis Club
🕕 Time: Meet from 6:00pm
🏃 Run start: Around 6:15pm
📍 Address: 41–47 Manor Way, Lee-on-the-Solent, PO13 9JQ
⏱️ Duration: ~45 minutes
💷 Cost: Free

What to expect

  • Arrive from 6:00pm to say hello and socialise
  • A short welcome and intro (especially for anyone new)
  • Group warm-up
  • We set off around 6:15pm for a 45-minute run

After the run, lots of people hang around for a drink and a chat - but there’s absolutely no obligation. If you just want to run and head home, that’s completely fine too.

Pace groups

We cater for all abilities, including:

  • 4:30–5:00 min/km
  • 5:00-5:30 min/km
  • 5:30-6:00 min/km
  • 6:00-6:30 min/km
  • 6:30-7:00 min/km
  • 7:00-7:30 min/km
  • Run / walk

Groups are organised by pace, and we encourage you to start at a pace you feel comfortable with. As confidence and fitness build, you’re always welcome to move up to a quicker group in future sessions. We work hard to foster a supportive atmosphere where runners encourage each other and everyone feels welcome.

Inclusivity Is Our Thing

Pace Invaders is proud to be a genuinely inclusive run club.

That means:

  • All paces are respected
  • Everyone is encouraged
  • Effort matters more than speed

What really sets us apart is the community. People don’t just run alongside you - they back you. Wins get celebrated, tough days get support, and progress (big or small) gets noticed.

You’ll quickly find that the people you run with become your biggest cheerleaders, on the road and off it.

First Time? We’ve Got You

If it’s your first session:

  • Speak to any pacer or organiser - everyone’s approachable
  • Drop us an email at hello@paceinvaders.co.uk
  • Or message us on Instagram

We’ll make sure you know where to go, who to run with, and what to expect.

Locations & Seasonal Changes

In better weather, Wednesday runs may start on the seafront instead.
Any changes will always be clearly communicated in advance.

A Quick Note on Safety

All Pace Invaders runs are voluntary and community-led.

  • You take part at your own risk
  • You’re responsible for your own health and wellbeing
  • Pacers are volunteers, not coaches
  • Please stay aware of traffic, surroundings and conditions

If you’re unsure about anything, just ask - we’re happy to help.
