These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants in Pace Invaders activities and all users of the Pace Invaders website.
By attending any Pace Invaders run, event or activity, or by using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
Pace Invaders is operated by Pace Invaders Ltd, a UK limited company.

2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms apply to:
- Free weekly Wednesday runs
- Free Monday track nights (with venue access paid directly to the facility)
- Any future ticketed events or social events
- Purchase of event tickets and merchandise
- Use of the Pace Invaders website and social media platforms
3. Participation & Personal Responsibility
3.1 All Pace Invaders activities are voluntary and attended at your own risk.
3.2 By taking part, you confirm that you:
- Are physically fit and medically able to participate
- Have assessed your own capability to run or exercise safely
- Accept full responsibility for your own health, safety and wellbeing
3.3 If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns that could affect your participation, you must seek medical advice before attending.
3.4 Pace Invaders does not provide medical supervision, coaching, or personalised training advice.
4. Pacers, Volunteers & Organisation
4.1 Pacers, run leaders and helpers participate in activities on a voluntary and non-professional basis. They are not providing paid or professional instruction, coaching or supervised training services.
4.2 Pacers:
- May suggest routes or approximate paces
- Are not qualified coaches or instructors
- Do not accept responsibility for individual participants
4.3 Pace Invaders Ltd is a for-profit company. Any profits generated do not alter the voluntary, informal nature of participation in activities or create any duty of care beyond that required by law.
4.4 You remain responsible for your own decisions, pacing, route awareness and safety at all times.
5. Assumption of Risk
5.1 You acknowledge that running and physical exercise involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Trips and falls
- Traffic and road hazards
- Weather conditions
- Collisions with pedestrians or other runners
5.2 By participating, you knowingly and voluntarily accept these risks.
6. Liability
6.1 Pace Invaders Ltd holds public liability insurance up to £5 million.
6.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pace Invaders Ltd, its directors, volunteers, pacers and organisers shall not be liable for:
- Injury, illness or death
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Any indirect or consequential loss
6.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded by law.
7. Age Restriction
7.1 Pace Invaders activities are strictly for participants aged 18 and over.
7.2 Anyone under the age of 18 is not permitted to take part in runs, events or activities under any circumstances.
8. Conduct & Behaviour
8.1 All participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly.
8.2 We do not tolerate:
- Harassment or discrimination
- Aggressive or unsafe behaviour
- Disruption of events or activities
8.3 Pace Invaders Ltd reserves the right to:
- Refuse participation
- Remove individuals from activities or events
- Cancel tickets or orders
- Ban individuals from future involvement
No refunds will be issued where removal is due to misconduct.
9. Safety & Public Spaces
9.1 Participants must:
- Follow the Highway Code and local laws
- Be aware of their surroundings
- Take responsibility for road crossings and hazards
9.2 You must listen to any safety guidance given, but ultimate responsibility remains with you.
10. Personal Belongings
10.1 Pace Invaders does not provide secure storage.
10.2 Any assistance between participants (e.g. holding keys) is informal and at your own risk.
11. Events, Tickets & Refunds
11.1 Tickets for Pace Invaders events are digital only.
11.2 If an event is cancelled by Pace Invaders Ltd, a full refund will be issued.
11.3 If you are unable to attend an event, you may contact hello@paceinvaders.co.uk with your reason for non-attendance.
Refunds or credits may be offered at our discretion, depending on:
- The nature of the event
- The notice provided
- Operational costs already incurred
11.4 Refund requests must be submitted prior to the event start time unless otherwise stated.
11.5 Minimum notice periods (if any) will be communicated at the time of ticket purchase.
11.6 Optional refund protection may be offered for certain events and will be governed by its own terms.
11.7 No refunds are guaranteed unless required by law or explicitly stated.
12. Merchandise
12.1 Merchandise purchases are for physical goods supplied via third-party fulfilment.
12.2 Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
12.3 Refunds or replacements will be handled in line with UK consumer law where applicable.
13. Photography, Video & Media
13.1 Pace Invaders may take photos or videos during activities and events.
13.2 By attending, you consent to your image being used for:
- Marketing
- Social media
- Promotional materials
13.3 If you do not wish to appear in content, you must inform an organiser in advance.
14. Website Use
14.1 You must not misuse the website or attempt to disrupt its operation.
14.2 All content remains the property of Pace Invaders Ltd unless stated otherwise.
15. Changes & Cancellations
15.1 Activities and events may be altered or cancelled due to weather, safety, or operational reasons.
15.2 We will communicate changes via our website, email or social media where possible.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
